Nonlaughing

We dined on squab, which I suspected of having started out in life as nonlaughing sea gull, listened to the current palaver in the bar and said good night.

He laughed all the way to the bus (with nonlaughing breaks to catch his breath). He waved and shouted. He made it easily.

If one person does not laugh at your jokes and all the other members of the audience do, these responses are fed back to the nonlaughing receiver.
