Normophile

The notion that the heterosexual, genitally-fixated “normophile” has somehow attained “authenticity” merely by obediently assuming the societally approved outcome of sexuality, while the pervert needs to be convinced of his delusion by the “good enough” analyst (Stoller, 1986, p. 95) is a piece of reasoning whose normative cultural-political implications cannot be ignored.
