Osiris, Anubis, and Horus are some of the most famous ancient Egyptian deities.

Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris.

The Company of the gods rejoiced at the coming of Horus, the son of Osiris, whose heart was firm, the triumphant, the son of Isis, the heir of Osiris.

Bennu is the living symbol of Osiris.

Rā issued the mandate to Thoth, that he should effect the triumph of Osiris against his adversaries, and the mandate is what Thoth hath executed.

According to legend, Osiris was murdered by his own brother, Set.
