Besides measurement of the critical current density j#95;c and of creep rates S, the ac magnetic response provides valuable information on the pinscape which is different from that obtained through j#95;c or S, with the Campbell penetration depth #92;lambda#95;#123;#92;rm#92;scriptscriptstyleC#125; defining a characteristic quantity well accessible in an experiment.
