Pitroom

[…] my pitroom, and go to bed. I spend the next day with Liam, the marine biologist. Liam studies giant sea sponges, some of them two meters tall; a man could crawl within them.

Nobody told me where I might find my pitroom, or indeed if I had been allocated one. Was I to sleep outside? I was alone among my countrymen at the end of the world.
