Postchallenge

Detailed inclusion and exclusion criteria are provided in previous publications. 9–11 Participants underwent a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test and IGT was defined as a 2 h postchallenge glucose value of 7.8–11.0 mmol/L (with fasting plasma glucose 5.3–6.9 mmol/L).
