Postscarcity

Aguilar-Millan et al. published an ambitious flight of fancy which explored the “post-scarcity world” of 2050 in light of technical advancements which they argue will decrease costs to providers until almost everything becomes free to the end user.

Forget post-scarcity. Between rising populations, climate change, a dearth of fresh water and stretched bio-capacity, just avoiding widespread famine by the middle of this century would represent an astonishing achievement.

A post-scarcity communism that doesn't dispense with all thoughts of the divine and numinous can't be precluded.
