Predischarged

Self-administration of medications by patients is not permitted except for emergency drugs on special order of the patient's physician or in a predischarged program under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Any course for the educationally disadvantaged or the predischarged education program offered by a proprietary nonprofit educational institution, at the principal or branch location, when the institution offering the course has been in operation for more than 2 years.

A convenience sample of 120 predischarged patients participated in a survey conducted on neurosurgical and orthopaedic wards in a university hospital in Istanbul 2006.
