Presidentiable

The parties organise chiefly around two activities: choosing a 'presidentiable' and electing MPs. Normally, moreover, the 'presidentiable' must lead the party in both activities in order to minimise rivalry.

In interviews and debates held in the past few weeks, some presidentiables have already shared snippets of their stand on some environmental issues, such as open-pit mining, clean energy, or sourcing of water.
