Pretherapeutic

Inclusion criteria were: (1) available digitally stored CT scans taken within 30 days pre-operatively for initial pretherapeutic staging and suitable for adequate image analysis; (2) presence of a frozen serum sample collected at time of diagnosis (IRB approval number 366/2003 –Medical University of Vienna; written informed consent was given).
