Commenting on the proceptive and receptive nature of sexual response, Vrangalova and Savin-Williams [36 ] proposed that, “…mostly heterosexual individuals may be proceptively oriented toward only one sex, but have higher arousability to a wider range of stimuli, including those of their non-preferred sex” (pp. 97).
