Proppiness

It requires no experience to note the adequacy of the quarters and the absence of proppiness, and the levelness of the back line will be apparent in a fine dog.

A sure sign that sheep are getting too much grain is when they show signs of proppiness in the forelegs.

This is much less tiring for adults accustomed to full-sized horses than the 'proppiness' associated with the smaller (and indeed some of the larger) native breeds.
