Pumello

There are many commercially grown Citrus spp. such as mandarins (Citrus reticulata), sweet orange (C. sinensis), acid lime (C. aurantifolia), lemon (C. limon), grape fruit (C. paradisi), pumello (C. grandis), etc.

(A) Highly damping spongy gradient structure in the peel of pumello (Citrus maxima), (B) combination of fibrous damping structure and tough shell in the fruit wall of coconut (Cocos nucifera), (C) entirely tough shell of fruits of Macadamia sp.

The pumello was full of bitter seeds, and these too they ate, nibbling them like peanuts.
