Tom accidentally pressed the quickload key instead of the quicksave key.

Press F5 to quicksave before trying something risky.

Games can be quicksaved at any time, so you won't be forced to start every mission from scratch after making a bad tactical decision.

I think most gamers would be surprised by how much time they waste reloading and quicksaving for every minute imperfection and harmless mistake they make.
