Redox

Lithium-ion batteries are a class of batteries that uses redox reactions involving lithium.

An electrolytic cell is a type of electrochemical cell in which the flow of electric energy from an external source enables a redox reaction.

In redox reactions, the oxidizing agent is the electron acceptor and becomes reduced.

Can you have too much redox? Definitely.
