Riverpark

Typically, riverparks take the forms of concrete steps or natural banks.

Yet, beginning in 2001, a binational initiative was undertaken to envision a riverpark in the Alamar River, at that time, a 9-mile stretch of the last remaining free-flowing river in the area, host to a rich riparian area.
