Sciomancer

The sciomancer called forth the ghost or shadow of the dead, which was not considered the living, active spirit, but rather an emanation from the dead which yet retained the impress of living thought, an idea akin to modern psychometry.

Some sciomancers thought that certain types of shadows were ghosts of the departed.

This concoction is often used by mediums, seers, and prophets who wish to call on the knowledge of the dead; sibyls; and sciomancers.
