Sexsurfing

On the other hand, in some circles couchsurfing has been dubbed “sexsurfing.”

While an ideal host may enlighten travelers to the ins and outs of a city or offer a local's perspective on the surrounding area, the prevalence of “sexsurfing,” a term used by some travelers to describe incidents of sexual activity between travelers and hosts, has been sufficient to make some pause and reconsider.

Take note though, as in researching the term couchsurfing it was found that in Europe, couchsurfing can be synonymous with sexsurfing, whereby hosts may assume that they can have sex with the guest in return for lodging.
