Sheffield

Sheffield Wednesday is playing their usual long-ball game.

In that pleasant district of merry England which is watered by the river Don, there extended in ancient times a large forest, covering the greater part of the beautiful hills and valleys which lie between Sheffield and the pleasant town of Doncaster.

"Are they still on that record label based in Sheffield?" "They're still on that label, but it's not in Sheffield any more."

Sheffield looked beautiful in the evening sunlight.

And certainly our current language differs considerably from that which was used and spoken when I was born. And the merchant was angry, for he could also speak no French, but wanted to have 'egges', and she didn't understand him. And then at last another said that he wanted 'eyren', then the good woman said that she understood him well. Lo! what should a man in these days now write, 'egges' or 'eyren'? Certainly it is hard to please every man, because of diversity and change of language.
