Shitbox

My house is a shitbox.

Mother and I inhabited a little two-bedroom shitbox out in the Maritimo Brothers development known as “Avondale.”

What's funny about the comparison between a 70's car and a 00's shitbox, is that the difference is almost as drastic in the 10 years that have passed.

It's a Ferrari! It's a shitbox!

The rural townies are so backward they make the supporting cast of Deliverance look like Rhodes' scholars (including a Vietnam vet who refers to himself as "a time bomb ready to go off"), and the tourists are represented by a loathsome pack of suburban shitboxes who compare their campsite to On Golden Pond with Peter Fonda (it's a joke, get it?).

"You shitbox!" Ellen roared. "You piece of living shit!"

Just shy of six months before that shitbox Schaffer burst into his office, the General leaned back in his chair and entwined his meaty fingers behind his head.
