From the moment Bart McLarty steps aboard his father's home-made Skanoe (a cross between a surf ski and a canoe) he is heading for a place in the Olympic kayak team.

From small beginnings in a home made skanoe, Bart develops his skill as a canoeist until he finally has to choose between a chance for the Olympic Games or a university scholarship.

We haven't even talked about boats yet. Jon boat, drift boat, canoe, skiff, skanoe, kayak, SUP board, low side, high side, prop, jet oars, cooler, anchors, trailer. I'm not even going to touch rods, reels, and lines.
