Snaccident

Every so often I’d step on the scales or catch my reflection in the mirror and think ‘How the feck did this happen?!’ I didn’t mean to gain weight, it happened by snaccident.

Absentmindedly munching your way through an entire packet of biscuits while engrossed in Netflix could be considered a late night ‘snaccident’ but, for a growing number of people in the UAE, compulsive eating is putting their health at risk.

‘Yeah, I knew you liked canapés, but …’ Angus received a biff to his arm. ‘That was a, um, snaccident. I didn't mean to eat them all. But they were so delicious … the truffle bit on the mushroomy sauce, oh my word, I mean, I was in food heaven.’
