Snowmantled

This is well to the north of the Alps, of course, and the absence of snowmantled mountain summits doubtless is one reason for the neglect, though the bold rocky massif of the Santis and the jagged parallel range of the Churfirsten, on the southern edge of the region, are an excellent substitute.
