For children, “le Cirque du Soleil” is an unforgettable show.

The French word "soleil" means "sun".

It's interesting that near my ex-home, on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC, there were two cafés with similar names: in the south was Café Deux Soleils; in the north was Café du Soleil.

For nearly 30 years, Cirque du Soleil has entertained audiences around the world with its blend of acrobatics, clowning, music and dance.

Divine. ... Disporting yourself on the sable plage getting your lallies all bronzed - your riah getting bleached by the soleil.
