Splatterfest

The upside is that we get more of both Mr. Rodriguez’s gleefully gross zombie splatterfest, “Planet Terror,” and Mr. Tarantino’s miraculous little road movie, “Death Proof,” which increasingly looks like one of the year’s best American films.
