Spondylolisthetic

In the spondylolisthetic pelvis, the body of the last lumbar vertebra is dislocated forward and downward over the anterior surface of the sacrum.

We aim to determine the incidence of this non-spondylolisthetic cause of instability in conservatively managed patients and operated groups of patients.

Our findings imply that the Caudad insertion of pedicle screws facilitated interbody distraction during the restoration of spondylolisthetic vertebrae.
