Street-cleaner

If the Town Council would take a broad hint, street-cleaners might be set to work, and the bustle and change of looks in our streets, could be viewed with advantage.

The move comes following renewed calls for a permanent street-cleaner in Dalton, after residents reported a rise in the amount of litter in the town.

It was the street-cleaners, busy at work in the late evening hours, who got to take a break to laugh at the unexpected procession of bicycles.
