Subcharacteristic

Compatibility characteristic (with co-existence and interoperability subcharacteristics) is understood as the degree to which two or more systems or components can exchange information and/or perform their required functions while sharing the same hardware or software environment.

We define three subcharacteristics to measure the capability in more aspects.

The ability to learn how to use a system (learnability) is also a major subcharacteristic of usability.
