Heringer & Salino sp. nov. urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:77147604-1 Figures 14, 15 Selaginella sematophylla differs chiefly from Selaginella vestiens in having (vs. lacking) idioblasts on upper surfaces of median leaves and dorsal sporophylls and on lower surfaces of lateral leaves, and by its acute (vs. acuminate to aristate, 0.4–0.7 mm) median leaves, and creeping (vs. ascending to suberect) habit.
