Sumacade

The fruits are rinsed and pressed in cold water, which is strained for a pleasant sour drink, sumacade; the leaves are dried and smoked in pipes alone or with tobacco or other herbs and are a bland and pleasant enough smoke, possibly less injurious than regular tobacco.
