Superphenomenal

It is evident that both of these theories regard mind as being a distinct entity of a superphenomenal if not supernatural sort.

“The anti-attā argument of Buddhism is mainly andconsistently directed against the notion of a soul, which was not only a persistent, unchanging, blissful, transmigrating, superphenomenal being, but was also a beingwherein the supreme Ātman or world soul was immanent, one with it in essence, and as a bodily or mental factorissuing its fiat."

The Intellect receives intuitions and apprehends realities of a superphenomenal order. We remember Meister Eckhart's statement: "There is something in the soul which is uncreated and uncreatable...this is the Intellect".
