It is assumed here that these acts of self-sacrifice are not based on stupidity. In fact, the origins of altruistic suicide can probably be traced to early religious ideology. Consider the following verse from the King James Version of The Bible, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Thousands of Camping’s followers prepared for doomsday and headed out to the streets to recite passages of The Bible and warn others about the end.

It is reported in The Bible that it was due to those being that became opposed to the Creator’s moral political/religious system that a rebellion occurred in the Creator’s kingdom. The rebellion ended with those involved in the rebellion being cast (evicted, exiled) from the Creator’s kingdom into a great abyss (void, space, i.e., realm) to call their own. Those beings are reported and identified in The Bible as Lucifer and Lucifer’s followers.
