Effect of actinomycin on thymidylic kinase activities of 24-hour regenerating liver supernatant fluid.

In practice synchronization of the cultures is attained by blocking the synthesis of thymidylic nucleotides with amethopterin or 5 liuoro-deoxyuridine, by interfering with the synthesis of deoxyguanosine nucleotides with high levels of thymidine or by blocking DNA syntehesis with hydroxyurea.
