Games I look forward to next year: [...] Metroid Prime 4 (I’ve never played one of the 3D troids but I wanna)

It kinda ruined parts of Metroid 2 and it's definitely one of the weaker 2D troids, but it has solid moment to moment gameplay and Samus "feels" great to control.

really hope MercurySteam gets to keep cranking out some more 2D troids

The much derided linearity is merely a reappearance of the linearity of Metroid 2, with it's coincidental earthquakes when you killed troids

the metroid fights, meanwhile, their counter tells are SO LONG i always miss them by hitting the button early. like, it can't possibly be that long. except it is. i have no success trying to do it on reaction either.. also, the troids spend too long being invuln for w/e reason

I love to draw samus and metroids... metroids are cute... I want to draw more of the other critters too (space pirates? ridley? non-larval troids????)

at least we both concede that troids are hard on the eyes

Ever wonder why the majority of troids are trans "woman"?
