Are the first letters of the names of languages always written in uppercase in English?

Latin was written without spaces between the letters, and entirely in uppercase.

You can add sentences whose translations you don't know. Maybe someone else knows them. Please pay attention to uppercase and lowercase letters and punctuation! Thank you.

The Cherokee syllabary, just like the Greek, Cyrillic, Armenian and Latin alphabets, has a distinction between lowercase and uppercase letters.

In German, the ß character is called eszett. It’s used in “Straße,” the word for street, and in the expletive “Scheiße.” It’s often transliterated as “ss,” and strangely enough, it’s never had an official uppercase counterpart.
