Not too bizarre though it would seem for the devout religious branch of Covidian wokels, the fear kept working on them.

By analogy with yokels, the ignorance and naivety of woke fascists makes them “wokels”. Then why are so many academics woke? Surely, they must be the opposite of wokels.

On the other hand, I can already hear critics bellowing that giving men free booze promotes patriarchy rather than subverts it. Such a program would be a tough sell to the local wokels.
