Yangshupu

Shanghai's concessions, which by the middle of the nineteenth century took up 0.56 square kilometers, extended to over 33 square kilometers at the beginning of the twentieth century. The main extensions had taken place northward along the Huangpu River in Yangshupu and Wusong River (Suzhou Creek) and west of the Walled City.
