Chung County has posted notices on the provincial party committee's 12 regulations in every production team.

Under special conditions (when the previous year is one of abundant sand and the following year is a dry one), there are four locations in the river section that has many sandbar accumulations between Changshou and Zhong County where temporary silt accumulation may occur, making it possible to maintain a water depth of only 3 meters or less (river ship channel departments now are striving to maintain it above 2.9 meters) and resulting in problems in the passage of large barge trains.

In the spring of 1943, not long before Mother fled her home in Zhong County and came to Chongqing, Father's unit was transferred to another city.

There is no lack of precedent for such disturbances. For example, problems left over from the relocation of inhabitants in projects such as the Xinhua Reservoir in Wushan county, the Xiaojiang hydropower station in Yunyang county, and the Baishi Reservoir in Zhong county have constantly been the cause of frequent mass disturbances of no small scale; these problems have not been overcome even at this time.

Blue Sky Rescue, a volunteer group that conducts search and rescue and other emergency work, have teamed up with villagers in Zhong county near the city of Chongqing.
