We humane people have upset the balance of nature badly. Bambi-lovers would not agree to wolves and wildcats, would they?

Since my oldest son could sit up and stay awake in a darkened theater, I have sat through every one of Disney’s animated, exaggerated, gender-restrictive features starring large-eyed maidens with cleavage. And my children have loved every full-color second. But this time the dynasty of the man who brought a mother doe’s violent death to generations of terrified Bambi-lovers is stepping on my toes.

This overpopulation is ripe for disease. This is helped along by a steady stream of Bambi-lovers that trek up to the mountain and unload mountains of food for them, especially the guy with the bread truck. Out west they noticed the spread of disease around hunters’ bait traps, especially the mad cow equivalent in deer which spreads in saliva.
