Uh-oh, better be careful what you say in that regard. I made the same point here just a few weeks ago and got flamed by one of the posting board's "Buffyatrics" (which group actually doesn't seem distinguishable from the younger set, at least not according to some of the items posted at their website).

The word "gay" has been adopted as a generic term to cover both male and female homosexuals (aka lesbians). Even *I* know that and I'm an ageing Buffyatric!
