On November 8th, the Nation will host “Celebration of Indigenous Cultures” at Tulsa Premium Outlets from 12 to 3 p.m. The event will feature Mvskoke food samples, hands-on art activities, and exhibits from various Muscogee Nation departments.

The Poarch Creek Indians is the only federally recognized tribe in Alabama. The Mvskoke language is endangered with few speakers left. The Calvin McGhee Cultural Department’s Creek Language Program was started in 2021. The program also teaches tribal hymn classes for their senior population.
