For those who don’t yet know the joyous message of Christmas, and whose holiday season is a dreary, lifeless ritual, I wish a Merry Claus-mas, and a prayer that they will soon discover true peace and rest in the loving, gentle, comforting embrace of Jesus, the “reason for the season.”

The few presents they receive will be placed around that manger as a constant reminder of the greatest gift ever given—the reason we celebrate. Believers everywhere, I encourage you to celebrate Christmas and not Claus-mas. Perhaps if we do, those around us will experience the uncompromised joy, peace and hope that this season was meant to bring.
