Incidentally, if there is a Swan in Ipswich as well, that's a hell of a cohencidence - I remember a very drunken discussion on the Swan in Needham, about that very same topic[1]. IIRC, we eventually decided that there must be some sort of "diced carrot appendix" in the human body, that simply stores all the diced carrot ever eaten by a person, then returns it when needed[2].
