I see Hufflepuffish spirit in the unwillingness of Cornelius Fudge and the Ministry of Magic to accept that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has returned and that traditions et al need to be altered to deal with the threat. Heck, the whole society seems stifled by Hufflepuffish values.
