Remarkably, ALS subgroup analysis (spinal vs. bulbar onset) revealed no significant differences in the investigated oculomotor parameters with an exception of the upward VGRS gain which indicated a tendency for more hypometric saccades in upper direction in bulbar onset compared to spinal onset (p = 0.035).
