As shown in Fig 2B and 2C, EmGFP-Rab30 was not recruited to SLO-deficient GAS which are Rab7-positive intraendosomal bacteria, suggesting that Rab30 is recruited to GAS in response to autophagy induction by SLO. We also examined whether the recruitment of Rab30 to GAS requires GcAV formation using autophagy-deficient cell line.
