I've not seen any genuine Harry Potter merchandise barring the journals and card games. Mostly I've seen generic "Wizard Doll"s. It's this Potterish character sans scar in a black robe. A lightningbolt is across his chest and his wand has a little star on the end. Now HE drives me nuts.

Wow... People actually buy these coins? I mean - in a weak moment, I could probably order one of these sets myself: [link] But, just ordinary coins with a Potterish motive? Nah. The site says that the coins are legal tender, but that doesn't mean that they're in regular circulation as well, does it?

They were going through the various types, and it immediately occurred to me that there was a similarity between choosing batons, and choosing wands, as in Harry Potter. (Mark Lawson must have overheard my thoughts, as he made a Potterish reference a few minutes later).
