Help us improve definitions, synonyms, pronunciations, examples, and editorial guidance.

What To Report

  • An incorrect, misleading, or outdated definition.
  • A synonym or antonym that has the wrong tone, meaning, or context.
  • A missing common sense, phrase, inflection, or part of speech.
  • A pronunciation, syllable count, rhyme, or audio issue.
  • A sentence example that is unclear, malformed, or not useful.
  • An editorial guide or usage note that needs clearer wording.

How To Send a Correction

Email contact@wordtoolset.com with the word or page URL, what looks wrong, and any source or context that helps us verify it.

For word-page issues, include the exact word and tool page, for example /meaning/happy or /synonyms/happy.

What Happens Next

  1. We check the report against source data and the current page output.
  2. If the issue is clear, we fix it directly or queue it for the next database refresh.
  3. If a page is too sparse or uncertain, we keep it available for users but exclude it from indexing.
  4. For editorial pages, we update the content when a correction improves accuracy or clarity.

Review Standards

Our correction process follows the same standards described in our Editorial Policy and Data Sources & Methodology. We do not add unsupported claims, invented etymologies, or unsourced pronunciation facts.
