Autotruck

While the manufacturers of automobiles have in the last few years dreaded an over-production of pleasure cars, and have even hinted at a gradual restriction of the output for fear the wonderful boom might begin to decline, they all agree that the demand for the autotruck must continue indefinitely until nearly all heavy vehicles drawn by horses are displaced.

An invited passenger in an autotruck must use reasonable diligence in apprehending danger of collision with a street car and in avoiding it, if practicable.

They require a little larger tax on the autotruck, because it is a little harder on the road, and more benefits accrue from its use; but they do not require a certificate of convenience and necessity.
