Bluebird

The bluebird carries the sky on his back.

The eastern bluebird is the state bird of Missouri and New York.

We reached the top of the mountain, stepping out of the tram to the most bluebird day I had ever seen. I looked out onto Mineral Basin, to see miles and miles of gnarly snowcapped mountains and trees peppered across the landscape. Was I in heaven?

Nothing warms the soul like waking up to fresh powder and a bluebird sky on a cold November morning.

The day was bluebird, and we marveled once again at the wonder of having this playground to ourselves.
